Colours & Crest

Colours

The original club colours were Purple and Yellow but they changed to the current Green and Gold in 1981. At that time the club was looking for a set of jerseys and was offered a set by Morans of Limerick. It is believed that the jerseys were originally intended for Kerry with whom Ogie Moran was playing at the time. However the jerseys were returned due to a slight blemish.

Crest

The club crest was initially a straightforward crest with a shield containing 2 hurleys crossed with the name of the club underneath. In 2001 John Fitzgerald designed a new crest which contained both colours and also contains the symbols of the 2 parishes of Crecora and Manister.
